Bioenergy Experiences: the Good, the Bad and How to Avoid Disappointment
Before deciding to come for a treatment, many people read other people’s experiences with bioenergy. Some are lovely, some are disappointing, and I understand that it is hard to know whom to trust. I have worked with bioenergy since 1988, and over all those years I have listened to what people feel, what helps them and what disappointed them elsewhere. In this article I write honestly about both sides of bioenergy and about how to choose a path that will not leave you disappointed.

What people most often feel during a treatment
When someone sits down with me for the first time, they often do not know what to expect. During the treatment the person sits or stands, fully clothed, while I work with their energy field without physical contact. What people most often describe to me is:
- warmth, especially in the hands, the back or where the tension is greatest
- a light tingling or a feeling of flow through the body
- calm and relaxation, often after just a few minutes
- deeper breathing and the feeling that the shoulders have finally dropped
- sometimes emotions, tears or relief, as the body lets go of what it has carried for a long time
Some people feel nothing special during the treatment itself and only notice a change later. That is completely normal too.
What changes after a treatment
After a treatment people often get in touch and tell me what they have noticed. Most often it is:
- calmer sleep, sometimes the very same night
- a lighter body and less tension in the neck, shoulders and back
- more energy and motivation for everyday tasks
- calmer thoughts, less worry and restlessness
For some the change is visible straight away, for others it comes gradually over a few days. Sometimes a mild tiredness or sleepiness is felt on the first day after a treatment. People sometimes mention this with concern, but it is a sign that the body is relaxing and resting, and it usually passes quickly. That is why I always advise drinking a glass of water after the treatment and not planning anything strenuous.
It is also important to know this: results do not come overnight. With problems that have lasted for months or years, the body needs time to return to balance. Changes usually happen gradually, step by step, which is why patience is part of the journey. Those who know this from the start are far less often disappointed.
Why experiences differ
In 38 years of work I have learned that no two people and no two treatments are the same. The experience depends on several things:
- how long the tension has lasted, because what has built up over years usually takes longer to ease
- expectations, because someone who comes with an open mind, without pressure for something to happen, relaxes more easily
- the current period of life, the stress, tiredness and everything a person carries with them
- trust, because the body relaxes more easily when a person feels safe
That is why we always start with a conversation. It helps me understand the person, and it helps them relax and know what to expect.
Where negative experiences come from
Online you will also find bad experiences with bioenergy, and I will not pretend they do not exist. When people come to me after being disappointed elsewhere, their stories are often similar:
- A promise of miracles. Someone promised them a cure in one or two treatments. When that did not happen, disappointment remained.
- A therapist without proper training. Anyone can call themselves a bioenergy therapist today, and experience and knowledge are not gained overnight.
- Pressure. They were asked to pay for a large number of treatments in advance or were made to feel they had to keep coming.
- Advice to stop treatment. This is the most dangerous. A serious therapist will never tell you to stop your medication or not to see a doctor.
- A treatment without a conversation. Without understanding the person and their situation, the work stays superficial.
Most negative experiences, then, do not speak against bioenergy, but against the way someone worked.
How to avoid disappointment
If you would like to try bioenergy, here is what I would advise you, as if we were talking over coffee:
- Check who the therapist is. Ask where they trained, how long they have been working and whether they belong to a professional association, such as HUPED.
- Ask for a conversation before the treatment. A good therapist listens first and only then works.
- Have realistic expectations. Bioenergy can be great support with all kinds of health problems, but results take time. It is not a magic wand and it does not replace a doctor.
- Do not give in to pressure. No one should push you to pay for a series of treatments in advance.
- Listen to yourself. If you do not feel comfortable and safe with a therapist, that is reason enough to look for someone else.
I write more about this in the article how to recognise a genuine bioenergy therapist.
My experience after 38 years of work
When I started working in 1988, I had no idea how many people would sit with me over the years. Today the children and grandchildren of people who once came themselves come to me, and that is the greatest recognition I could ask for. Word of mouth, from one generation to the next, says more than any advertisement.
My approach is always the same: first a conversation, then calm time for the treatment, and finally honest advice. I do not promise miracles, I do not ask you to stop any treatment and I do not push anyone to keep coming. For me, bioenergy is support for body and mind, alongside medical care, not instead of it.
Today a team of certified therapists also works with me, so alongside bioenergy you can also try crystal therapy. Treatments take place in Zagreb, and for those who cannot come in person I also offer remote bioenergy therapy.
If you would like to see for yourself what your experience will be like, feel free to get in touch. We will happily start with a conversation.
